The one where I’m the author

This message will be short and sweet, but it comes from the heart. Seeing my book in print for the first time this afternoon is a moment I’ll cherish forever. I’ve been waiting (a bit anxiously!) for this delivery all week. So, when I heard the UPS delivery driver outside, my heart skipped a beat. Could it really be here?

Sure enough, it was. My box of Advanced Reader Copies finally arrived! The giddiness as I carried that heavy box inside was matched by cheers from my husband and daughter. They’ve been waiting for this moment too. It’s been two and a half years since I first started writing Dancing on My Own Two Feet, and holding it in my hands feels like a dream come true.

Tomorrow, I’ll head to the post office to send out the first wave of ARCs to my readers and reviewers, and I couldn’t be more excited.

Thank you for celebrating this milestone with me—whether near or far. As we head into the holiday week, I’m raising a toast to your dreams too. May this season bring many blessings your way.

For the world needs who we were made to be!
